Ward Feast of St.Raphael Ward

The members of St. Raphael ward celebrated their patron St. Raphael's feast on 28th September at 11:30 a.m. in the church hall. Kevin D'souza conducted the games.The youth of St. Raphael ward invoked the blessings  of the Almighty  through a prayer dance. 

The children of the ward performed a konkani filmy dance . The Ward members performed a Skit on theme " Prayer is a  Powerful Weapon".  Ward leader Mrs. Lilly Rego escorted dignitaries to the dais.  Parish Priest,  Vice-president and  Secretary of PPP, Superior of Bethany convent, Convenor of 21 Commissions, Ward Leader, Ward Secretary were  present on the dais. 

Ward Leader Mrs. Lilly Rego  welcomed the gathering. Ward Leader along with the  ward  members conducted the prayer service. Parish Priest Fr. Roshan Crasta gave reflections on Gospel reading. Meritorious students of the ward were felicitated.Parish Priest  praised the ward members for conducting the programme and appreciated the  activities of the ward. Ward Leader Mrs. Lilly Rego distributed prizes to the winners of Quiz competition held on 14 September on the occasion of Nativity Feast of Mother Mary. Sr Janet Rego superior of Bethany Convent , Badyar distributed prizes to the winners of the high attendance in Small Christian Community meetings. On the occasion of Ward feast out of 39 families of ward, a lucky family draw was picked-out. Vice- President of PPP distributed prizes to the winners of games. 

The program was hosted by Viyola Rego. Vote of thanks was rendered by Mrs. Shanthi D'souza. Parish Priest invoked God's blessings on food. The program was concluded by singing patron's hymn. A total of 90 people attended the program and the unity of ward was preached.
