Inauguration of the Catechism Year 2026–27

The Catechism Year 2026–27 was solemnly inaugurated at St. Raphael Church, Badyar, on Sunday, 7th June 2026, during the Holy Eucharistic Celebration by Rev Fr Nilesh Crasta Administrator Father Muller homoeopathic medical College along with Fr Roshan Crasta Parish priest. The inauguration marked the beginning of another year of faith formation and spiritual growth for the children of the parish year dedicated to children.

The celebration commenced with a meaningful entrance procession involving catechism teachers, children, and parents, symbolizing the shared responsibility of the Church and families in nurturing the faith of young believers.

During the inauguration ceremony, the catechism teachers renewed their commitment to the noble ministry of faith formation. Parents and children also pledged their cooperation in fostering Christian values and participating faithfully in catechism classes throughout the year.

The parish community prayed in a special way for all the catechism students, teachers, and parents, seeking God's blessings upon them throughout the catechetical year. The inauguration concluded with the distribution of catechism books and mite boxes for loving contribution for the New church project.
