Paddy Field Games Programme

St Raphael Church, Badyar, organized a joyful Paddy Field Games Programme on 30 August 2026 at 10.00 a.m. Various traditional games and activities were conducted, bringing together parishioners, especially the youth, in a spirit of fun, teamwork and fellowship.

On this occasion, Konkani Language Recognition Day was also meaningfully observed, highlighting the importance of preserving and promoting the Konkani language, culture and heritage.The competitions were held ward-wise, and Holy Rosary Ward bagged the Championship Award, while Immaculate Heart of Mary Ward emerged as the Runners-up.The enthusiastic participation of all made the programme a memorable celebration of unity, culture, friendship, sportsmanship and rural traditions.
