The Titular feast of St.Raphael Church, Badyar, was joyfully celebrated on Sunday ,September 29,2024 with a Solemn Thanksgiving mass   as faithful congregated to express gratitude to the Almighty for the abundant blessings received through their patron St.Raphael.
The day's festivities commenced at  10:30am with the recognition and honor bestowed upon various donors for their support followed by the Thanks giving mass.
V.Rev.Fr.Roshan Dsouza, Chancellor,Udupi Diocese was the main celebrant of the mass.The event was graced by V.Rev.Fr.Walter D’mello,Dean of Belthangady Deanery along with priests from the deanery.
In his eloquent homily, V.Rev. Fr. Roshan DSouza focused on the  importance of remaining devoted to God and fostering unity in church family .
Parish Priest Fr.Roshan Crasta  took the opportunity to extend heartfelt wishes for a joyous feast and thanked  all parishioners, donors,the Parish Pastoral Council ,Sisters of Bethany Convent ,Choir and various pious organizations for their support and cooperation.
The wellprepared Choir was captivating.
Melodious tunes played by the Blue Brass Band team,Badyar created  a festive atmosphere around the Church.
After the mass auction was held and large number of parishioners actively participated in the auction. Generous contribution from the auction will be utilised for the parish jubilee fund. Festal celebration culminated with family meal sumptuous Lunch where gathered faithful showed their unity and spirit of belongingness.
