The members of St. Raphael ward celebrated Nativity of mother Mary and feast of  their patron St. Raphael  on 29th September at 6:00 p.m. in the church hall. The children of St. Raphael ward invoked the blessings  of the Almighty  through a prayer dance followed by the offering of  flowers  to Mother Mary. Ward leader Mrs. Lilly Rego along with the  ward  members conducted the prayer service. Parish Priest Fr Roshan Crasta gave reflections on Gospel reading . 

Ward leader escorted dignitaries to the dais and  welcomed the gathering. On this occasion ,the elderly of the ward,  Meritorious students, and  the teachers of the ward were felicitated.Vice-president appreciated the activities of the ward. Ravi Goveas conducted the games. Parish Priest distributed prizes to high attendance in small Christian community meetings and the  winners of the games. Then  addressing the gathering ,Parish Priest praised the ward members for conducting the programme.

 The program was hosted by Joel Veigas and Veena Pais. Vote of thanks was rendered by Tr. Flossy Andrade. Parish priest invoked God's blessings on new corn and food. The program was concluded by singing patron's hymn. A total of 90 people attended the program and the unity of ward was preached.
