Our Lady of Holy Rosary Ward Celebrates Feast of Nativity

Our Lady of Holy Rosary Ward celebrated the Feast of the Nativity of Mother Mary and the Harvest Festival on 14th September 2025 at the residence of Mr. Theodore Dsouza.

The celebration began at 4:00 p.m. with the Novena, led by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Roshan Crasta. Ward members offered flowers to Mother Mary, followed by intercessory prayers for the well-being of all ward members, especially the elderly and the sick. After the prayers, the Parish Priest mixed the blessed new paddy grains into the sweet porridge (payasam) and later served it to everyone as a symbol of unity and love. Children, youth, men, and women actively participated in the celebration. The presence of Sr. Saritha added encouragement and joy to the ward members.

         In his address, the Parish Priest congratulated everyone for coming together and demonstrating unity and love. Ward headman Mr. Arun Dsouza expressed his gratitude to the Parish Priest and all the members for their wholehearted participation.

         The programme concluded at 4:30 p.m. with a total of 38 members from 21 different families in attendance.
